People do win on these machines , slowly but surely seems to be the way.
How do you go about placing your chips on the roulette table and, when do you stand, or when do you hit on Blackjack.
Would be interested to know peoples techniques, or does the house invariably always win ?

That's not strictly true. Maybe on those machines but plenty pay their mortgages off quite quickly from poker and the like.
Granted, you need the skills to do so. In my experience those type of people rarely ask for strategies on rigged machines!

I used to see a girl who was a branch manager for Paddy Power.
She reckons people have done 5k in an afternoon in her shop, just on the machines.
People who make a genuine living from gambling, with no other income, are rarer than hens teeth.

I know someone who gets paid on a friday and has lost his whole weeks wages on the roulette machine in Coral within hours of being paid. This happens every week.

Avoid at all costs. If you really want to play them do what my mate did. He bought an old fruit machine and used it as entertainment for us after the pub. We never went mental with the money, just replaced poker nights (and the small amount of cash we'd play for) with fruit machine nights.
Seriously, steer clear of those damn machines.

William hill alone make 400 million in clear profit a year from these machines alone, youre thinking about playing but posting on a football forum looking for advice.
Youll win for sure, its just a question of how much.

They are not called fixed odds betting machines for nothing.
If you play for long enough, you will lose.
The only way to win is keep tabs on the total you have spent and, if you are up at any point, stop playing immediately and never play again.

I love a dabble and will be losing my customary fiver on a first goalscorer tonight, but fuck playing them machines. Best thing is to watch hundreds of people lose big on them before jumping in yourself, as I guarantee seeing people lose thousands will put you off wanting a go.
I once watched a suit down Bishopsgate blow 5k in around half an hour. Had to keep speaking to the credit card company as they thought he was being fleeced (he was).
If you want a go, then go to a real casino and have a beer and a decent night out.

Mate of mine knew the roulette machines in bookieid watch him regular rimse them.
He packed hes job in and literally made thousands.
He was banned from loads of bookies.
Eventually the system changed and it ruined him.
6months he had a good run but disnt know when to call it a day.
Hes still on hes arse now this was 5yrs ago..
